On first arrival I was a bit disappointed and likened our room to a youth hostel, I would have said 3* hotel 5* view but the food has been excellent, once I got used to all the pine I really like the place, the staff are fantastic and nothing is to much bother, after a long day out lashings of hot water and deep bath brilliant, ground floor bungalows have small double bed and upper floors have 2 large twin beds we settled for the twin as the double was to small as previous reviewers have said the road in is laughable ladies wear your sports bra as this is serious juggling, however it's a beautiful spot and as long as you want a tranquil stay it's perfect.

– “Pine as far as the eye can see”
Naksel is a beautiful little hotel tucked up in the hills out of Paro, Bhutan. It is a bit of a ride to get there up a winding dirt road. This hotel is off the beaten path and there is no shopping or things to do around the hotel. Which was great because it was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the grounds of the hotels as well as our quaint rooms. They rooms are thoughtfully decorated and were clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the food that was served in the restaurant. The staff was awesome. So happy and willing to do anything. If you are tall make sure your clear the the top of door jam before entering your room or duck. Some of the rooms have wooden signs with the room number on them that are fastened so the hang over the top of the door jam an inch or so. We even splurged and had a massage in the spa. It was wonderful. I would stay here on a return trip to Bhutan.
– “Love it!”
Excellent Property. Starting from the Traditional Welcome they do, the room size with facilities & supplies , Meals they serve in the Restaurant , everything is well maintained and awesomely taken care by staffs with personalized service .
Highly recommended . Slightly on the higher end but totally value for money when compared to what they offer.
– “Awesome Experience”
Wow, what a great place. Yes the road getting there is very rough, some call it a Bhutanese message but the rooms are incredible and the views are amazing. The staff was excellent and very friendly and the restaurant very good. I would highly recommend this place. They have just about every thing from spas to activities to help fill in any free time if there is any.
This is an excellent resort . Though the road is not good at all and its 50 minutes away from airport but it worth staying.
Room was huge and perfect for 4 of us ( two kids ) . Heating was perfect . Toilet floor was warm !! . Welcome gift was nice . Lobby and restuarent , buggy service is also very nice . We were there for 2 nights and wish we could stay longer.
