Maya of the Terma Linca staff was wonderful for helping us set up and look after a terrific Bhutanese cooking class with the perfectly affable hotel chef. We really enjoyed our stay there. It was awesome of the staff also to preheat the room before we arrived as this was the middle of winter. Dining all together in the stovepipe heated dining room was an unforgettably pleasant experience.

“Lovely authentic hotel and Bhutanese cooking class”

What can one say about this abode of nature. The entire atmosphere is one of closeness with nature. The river running through, the weeping willow trees, the rolling lawns and seating places hidden in the underside of low hanging branches.

A great place to create time and commune with nature, to meditate. The only sounds are the whisper of the wind, the soft rustling of leaves and the humming of bees. 'Peace perfect peace' must have been coined in a place such as this. And at one long gone distant point in time, much of the world must have been like this

I will surely consider to stay here again in the future.

    “Closest to Nature”

A quiet place with the sounds of gurgling water.
Great coffee and they could perhaps work on the food - not much to choose from..
Rooms are nice and big - adequately heated. Wifi connection is strong.
    Lovely people.

    “Nice quiet place”

A river flows along the hotel. Splendid view from every room, river n mountain view. U can hear the soothing sound of river flowing throughout the time. Good courtesious staff n all well equipped amenities. The staff informed the the queen owns the hotel n thus high standards maintained.

“High standards and beautiful location ”

This was an amazing discovery on the net and then confirmation through TripAdvisor reviews. Situated next to river, a serene and well maintained hotel. The rooms were fabulous with huge windows facing the river. They were well equipped with everything required for a very comfortable stay. The bathrooms also were big and well heated. The staff was the best we ever came across. Very well trained. Each one had a welcoming smile always and were very helpful and patient. The reservation in charge, Anand helped plan all our outings very smoothly. I wish I could remember everyone's names as they deserve our compliments especially the girl serving us at the restaurant. Only area Terma Linca needs improvement is the Food. Firstly they need to add more dishes to their menu and secondly the taste of some dishes needs attention like breakfast items, chicken curry etc. The fabulous dishes were the "Chilli cheese", "Azee"( a chutney/sauce served with momos), pork etc. On the whole, its the best place to stay in Thimpu. Congratulations to the management and their full staff.
